LEARNING TO DRIVE 

I make sure that you, the pupil, whether starting from scratch or depending on experience, together, we will find you the correct level of instruction. I will keep training records so we are always working forward, step by step, taking on as much as possible in every lesson using all kinds of instructional techniques I have built up over my years as an approved driving instructor, until independent drive is grasped. We will then move onto mock testing, the actual test and pass first time, then a lifetime of confident driving skill.

This all means that you are not scraping through test 2nd, 3rd or even 4th time with the cost to your confidence, not to mention the money you would have to spend with the current price of tests.  

All instruction is given in an air-conditioned BMW MINI COOPER full spec because the best way to learn anything is to be comfortable first. "Also arguably the most reliable small car on the road".

PICKING A DRIVING INSTRUTOR

When selecting a driving instructor it is important to know the facts, not all will be fully qualified, a pink badge on the windscreen means only part qualified trainee instructor with a limited amount of experience. When you see a GREEN BADGE IT MEANS THE INSTUCTOR IS FULLY QUALIFIED don't be afraid to check this.

REFRESHER COURSE/PASS PLUS COURSE

We offer both refresher courses tailored to fit all stages and levels, as well as the pass plus course which is designed to follow on from practical test.

It's not a test; it is just some more time behind the wheel with a driving instructor to gain more experience of situations that you might not have dealt with up to the test. It can usually be done in six hours, key things to be covered would be, Motorways/different weather conditions/city or large town driving.   
 
When completed we send off the paper work and you receive a certificate which then can entitle you to insurance discounts for years to come. Also look out for local schemes run by the police, of which I am a member of, that can give substantial discounts on the cost of pass plus training.
